Shane Black's upcoming horror-action reboot/sequel The Predator and David Gordon Green's Halloween are both premiering at Midnight Madness at TIFF.
The genre-focused Midnight Madness is set to open with The Predator, meaning attendees will only be seeing it a few days before its actual release. Halloween, on the other hand, is showing almost a whole month before its international release in October. Midnight Madness will close with Diamantino.
The Michael Moore/Harvey Weinstein Donald Trump-focused documentary Fahrenheit 11/9, both a play on the title of Moore's 2004 Bush-doc Fahrenheit 9/11 and referring to November 9th, the day Trump was elected, is set to show during the TIFF Docs section.
